the cartoon course for schools
…encouraging our children to use their creativity and imagination, developing skills beyond the basic teachings of the art syllabus, and giving them something special that could be of great use in their careers, or, like me, even give them a career!
Cartooning also releases those happy endorphins, helping our children to enjoy creative fun, humour, and relaxation, while at the same time educating them with a new skill.
…from Kerber, one of the UK’s leading national newspaper cartoonists, with over 20 years experience and 3 awards.
The course is perfect for both teachers, and children of all ages, from 5 to 15 years!
I’m loving the course so far! It’s really taking me out of my art comfort zone with new shapes and ideas that I’ve never used before. It’s a real thrill. I was so excited for this I did my homework early so I could spend a whole evening on your marvelous project. I’ve attached photos of my art. I would be very grateful if you could give feedback on my work and see what I’ve done well and what I could improve on. Constructive criticism is always very welcome and again thank you for this wonderful opportunity of a life time!”

My experience teaching cartoons to children includes workshops in schools, plus also working with children at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and the wonderful charity Teens Unite Fighting Cancer…so I know what kids like to draw, and how to teach them.
